This practice is actively involved in training medical students and doctors wishing to specialise in general practice. We have 3rd Year and 5th Year medical students from The University of Leicester. You will always be informed when a medical student is observing a GP appointment or if your appointment is with a medical student, if you are to see a medical student a GP will review after the consultation with the student.
This might occasionally include a request to video a consultation. Videos are held for the minimum length of time and used for training or examination purposes only before being erased.
We hope that in the interests of providing doctors of the highest calibre to look after you and your family in the future you will consent to helping with these training activities.
If you feel that you need to decline a medical student or video please tell us and your wishes will be respected.
