NHS HEALTHCHECKS
All patients between 40 and 74 years of age, who do not have an existing diagnosis of Diabetes, Heart Disease or High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) are eligible for a free NHS Healthcheck. The aim of the check is reduce people’s risk of developing various form of Cardiovascular Disease in later life. If you are eligible please telephone and ask for an NHS Healthcheck appointment- this will be a 20 minute morning appointment with one of our nurses, and will include a blood test.

Our surgery is in the heart of Oadby village on the Parade. Our team of doctors, nurses, receptionists and administrators are dedicated to providing you with a friendly, caring and efficient family health service.
We hope we provide our patients with the best aspects of the modern general practice, while retaining the best of traditional primary care, offering you choice and continuity. We have a diverse group of patients with a diverse group of needs, and we want to be able to offer you all the service that works for you.
This means having a wide range of clinical staff- from a phlebotomist who specializes in taking blood samples, to nurses who can independently treat and prescribe medication for minor ailments, to GP’s with twenty years and more of experience who are training up the next generation of doctors.
Our friendly, helpful reception team is highly trained, and the more information you are able to give them, the more they can help you get the best from us.
